I see Langford is currently the Canadian champ. What's the situation in regards to him getting a shot at one of the world titles?

LW - (CBU) Young Griffo (26/18) (43-11-10) (end) scored a mild upset with a UD12 over George Dawson (20/31) (18-1) to win the CBU LW title. Everyone thought Griffo had a foot in the retired community but he turned back the clocks with a great performance. No cuts or knockdowns in this one.

LHW - (NABF) Jackie Clark (8/4) (21-4-1) won a UD12 over Bob Sweeney (3/8) (19-1) to win the NABF LHW title. Clark out boxed Sweeney and stayed away from Bob's power the whole night.

World Title Fight
FW - (WBA) Billy O'Donnell (15/CH) (17-16-2) stuns the world with a KO8 over Owen Moran (CH/11BW) (37-11-7) to win the WBA FW title. O'Donnell was in the fight and broke it open a bit with a knockdown in the 7th. Moran was still groggy and got hit with a booming shot and was out in the 8th. This fight was also a first round title tourney bout. Moran has decided to drop back down to BW after a 3-3 trip to the FW division.

Regional Title Fight
JMW - (EBU) Maurice Hope (UR) (9-0) (pre) scored a KO7 over Viktor Fessetchko (UR) (2-2-3) (pre) for his first defense of the EBU JMW title. Fessetchko was down in the 2nd and the 6th before being KO'd in the 7th.

Owen Moran decided that rather than move down to BW he would hang up his gloves. Rumors swirled that he suffered a detached retina in his last fight against O'Donnell.

JFW - (NABF) Arthur Johnson (UR) (10-0) (pre) scored a KO8 over Adan Vargas (UR) (6-1) (pre) for his first defense of the NABF JFW title. Vargas was down in the second but had battled back to even the fight out when he was KO'd in the 8th.

JWW - (CBU) Justin Rowsell (UR) (6-0-1) (pre) overcame 4-1 odds to score a KO4 over Moses James (UR) (6-1) (pre) to win the vacant CBU JWW title. James was down in the 3rd and out in the 4th.
