Attell finishes with a record of 47-12-3 and fought in two divisions FW and LW.

Attell started at the beginning of the LBA when fighters weren't able to pad their records and he started off a rough 4-3.

He moved his record to 12-3-1 winning the WBA title in October 1902 against Harry Lyons and defending it 3 times before being upset by Jimmy Briggs.

He won the title back in July of 1904 defeating Billy Whistler. He defended it twice before losing to Harry Lyons.

He then won the WBC title in January of 1907 by winning over Aurelio Herrera. He defended it twice before losing to Solly Smith.

After losing another attempt at the WBA title to Jem Driscoll, Attell stepped up to LW with a record of 29-7-1.

He struggled at LW going 8-5-2 losing title bouts to Jack McAuliffe and Jack Blackburn before winning the WBA LW title in June of 1912.

He ended his career on an 11 fight win streak including 9 defenses of his WBA LW title.
